Bio – Sherry Milchick

Sherry Milchick, M.Ed., BCBA

Sherry L. Milchick, BCBA, is Program Administrator for the Office of Professional Development at the Berks County Intermediate Unit. Her areas of concentration are reading instruction, behavior support, autism, and progress monitoring. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and holds a Supervisory Certificate in Special Education, a Reading Specialist Certification, a Pennsylvania Department of Education Credential in Advanced Training in Autism Spectrum Disorders, a Pennsylvania Department of Education Credential in Reading Instruction for Special Education, a Master of Education Degree in Special Education from Mansfield State University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education from The Pennsylvania State University. Sherry has presented at state and national conferences in Applied Behavior Analysis, autism, and reading and had published articles on mathematics instruction, Special Education supervision, applied behavior analysis for autism as well as a book on classroom management. Previously, Sherry was an educational consultant with the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network where she coordinated Pennsylvania’s behavior initiative. Sherry served as the Supervisor of Special Education in a public school district; and, prior to that, as a special education teacher in elementary and secondary public school settings for 13years.
